Hundreds of people visited Queensgate Shopping Centre for its Christmas lights switch-on.
The annual event, which was the official start of the festive season at the shopping centre, took place on November 16.
This year's event was themed 'Queensgate Express' and was attended by hundreds of people.
The shopping centre has announced a number of other events which will take place over the Christmas period.
Verity Swinscoe-Wigmore, marketing and events co-ordinator at Queensgate, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to launch this year’s Christmas season Queensgate.
“It’s all about creating magical experiences for our shoppers. We can’t wait to see families and friends coming together to celebrate the start of the most wonderful time of the year.
"From the stunning light display to the entertainment and community spirit, this year’s switch-on was truly unforgettable and we cannot wait for the other festive activities that we have in centre to begin.”
The other festive events that will take place at the shopping centre are:
- November 29: Polynesian Princess meet and greet, 4pm to 7pm - December 1: Polar Bear Walkabouts - December 6: Sustainable Christmas Workshop, 11am to 3pm - December 7: The Festive Spoilsport, 11am to 3pm - December 8: Penguin Walkabouts - December 15: Christmas Stocking visit, 11pm to 3pm - December 21: Paddington Bear Visit, 11am to 3pm - December 22: Christmas Birds visit
There will also be Salvation Army performances on November 30, December 7, December 12, December 14, December 19, and December 21.
Santa's Grotto is also back at Queensgate for the festive season.
