A Peterborough man has been charged with 12 drug dealing offences in the city.
Umear Akhtar, 27, is listed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).

Eight of the charges relate to possession with intent to supply of various Class A and Class B drugs including cocaine, MDMA and cannabis.
The listing says these offences happened on June 30, 2022.
Akhtar, of Ashcroft Gardens, is also accused of acquiring, using and possessing criminal property in the form of “a large quantity of cash” on the same day.
For three further charges, it is alleged he was also “concerned in the supply” of drugs including cocaine, cannabis and a substance related to ecstasy.
