Stanground Academy marked Remembrance Day with a unique tribute involving nearly 900 painted plastic bottle poppies.
The school's community united to honour those who served and sacrificed for freedom.
Academy staff and students, under the guidance of Mrs Lavallin, painted and attached the poppies to netting, creating a significant display.
This tribute, alongside newly crafted wooden poppies, is now a proud symbol of gratitude at the academy's front.
Tutor groups also contributed by crafting individual poppies inscribed with messages to veterans and personal military connections.
These activities allowed students to pay homage to family members or express respect for the Armed Forces.
The day unfolded with reflective talks and moments of contemplation, enhancing the understanding of its significance.
The school expressed gratitude to Mr Hicks, Mrs Kay, Mr Schofield, Mr Roscher, and all students who contributed to the poppy display.
In a social media post, the academy said: "Thank you to all students and staff for making this Remembrance Day one to remember."
The display stands as a testament to the academy's collective respect and memory of those who served.
