A production of A Christmas Carol will be performed at Peterborough Cathedral.

The Chapterhouse Theatre Company will bring Charles Dickens' classic story to the city as part of their UK Winter Tour in 2024.

The show will be performed at the cathedral on December 16 and 17 at 7.30pm.

The show will feature musical sequences and period costumes.

The show follows Ebenezer Scrooge as he learns about the true meaning of Christmas.

It is based on the book by Charles Dickens, which was released in 1843.

The theatre company was established in 1999 and performs adaptations of classic literature, Shakespeare and family shows as well as music concerts.
