Police searching for missing Robert Mee discovered a body near the A1 at Stamford yesterday (October 4).
Robert Mee, 58, left his home in Werrington and was last seen walking north on Lincoln Road on September 25.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "The death is not thought to be suspicious and formal identification has not yet taken place.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police quoting reference 471 of September 26.
