Eye Community Runners raised £1,500 for the Peterborough Foodbank by donating the fees from their latest two races - the ECR Charity 5 and the Handicap event.
Eye Community Runners raised £1,500 for the Peterborough Foodbank by donating the fees from their latest two races - the ECR Charity 5 and the Handicap event.
Julie Gooding, from the foodbank went to the club to meet the runners and receive the funds.
She said: "What a great bunch of super friendly people. It is so great to see people doing what they love to help those in need.
"As we are spending over £6,000 a month to buy food to supplement donations, this money is a vital help to the work we do."
