A sea creatures exhibition at Peterborough Cathedral is entering its last weekend, drawing to a close a highly successful six-week stint.
The "Monsters of the Sea" spectacle has lured almost 30,000 visitors to the place of worship, generating ripples of excitement throughout the city.
The display, encompassing life-sized aquatic residents, interactive installations and informative stations, marked its last chance this weekend.
It has captivated sea lovers, families and the generally inquisitive, and is notably supported by ARU Peterborough.
Not only has the exhibition helped to animate the city centre this summer, but it has also brought promising consequences for local businesses.
The Cathedral's head of market and communications, Paul Stainton, said: “It has been just joyous to see so many young, happy, smiling faces visit the Cathedral this summer, having fun, taking shark selfies and learning about the ocean and the creatures that lived in it."
With the fitting finale on the horizon being September 1, the Cathedral urges people to seize this weekend as their last opportunity to explore the depths of sea life in a uniquely memorable set-up.
