People in Peterborough are invited to join Sue Ryder's Starlight Hike this October to remember their loved ones.
The annual night-time walk, sponsored by Cultura Place, is returning to Ferry Meadows Country Park on the evening of October 5.
Hundreds of walkers are expected to attend and enjoy a beautiful 5k or 10k route, with live music and a dedicated memory area.
The event commences at 5.30pm with Clubbercise's warm-up entertainment.
At 7pm, walkers, many in fancy dress, glowing headgear and face paint, will embark on the family-friendly lit paths.
Asif Shaheed, community fundraiser at Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, said: “The evening is an opportunity for the community to get together and light up the skies for their loved ones, raise funds, and help create a future where everyone has access to care and support at the end of their life.
“Take part as a team, raising funds jointly, or individually, and together we can ensure that no one has to face dying or grief alone."
BBC Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel Horwood, is also supporting the event, he said: “Sue Ryder provides vital care and support to people in our local community, that’s why I’m encouraging everyone to get behind the charity this October and step out at the Sue Ryder Starlight Hike Peterborough.

“This unique and magical event is expected to be an evening to remember and by taking part not only will you be celebrating the life of your loved ones but will be crossing the finish line knowing that you have done something amazing to help Sue Ryder continue to provide end-of-life care and bereavement support when it matters.”
In an effort to become greener, Sue Ryder will offer a donation station for unwanted clothes, which will be sold in their charity shops.
For standard adult tickets, prices begin from £20.
