A charity fun day was held at Nene Park to bring people from a range of backgrounds together.
The event organised by Helping Empower Lives in Peterborough - HELP - consisted of a free BBQ as well as games including a beanbag toss and football.
Among those who attended the event were two local PCSOs.
"It was lovely to meet so many people and talk to them about the work we are doing and answer questions while they had fun trying on our uniform and learning about what we do day-to-day," said police.
"Thank you so much for having us, we hope to see you again soon."
