The Local View is bringing the Peterborough business community together for an exhibition in September.

The 'Be Seen, Grow Your Business, Build Your Brand' event

This is the first of many business exhibitions from the company. The aim is offering support and driving the local economy.

The Local View Business Expo will be held at The Atrium, Kingsgate, Peterborough, PE1 4YT on Thursday, September, from 10am-2pm with networking opportunities for exhibitors before and after the event.

The Kingsgate venue has lots of parking available and is central to Peterborough with good access from the A15 and A47.

Visitors will be able to hear speakers talk about topics relevant to their business, network with like-minded businesses, enter competitions and get inspired!

The Local View Business Expo will be opened by a local business owner Annabel Murcott of Annabel Murcott Schools of Tae Kwon Do.

The first British woman to gain an 8th Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She has a career spanning more than 40 years and is the highest ranked female within Britain's largest Tae Kwon-Do Association the TAGB. Annabel is a multi world champion with 10 branches of Tae Kwon Do schools across Peterborough and Lincolnshire.

Sara Hemp, director of The Local View said; “Our strapline ‘Be Seen, Grow Your Business, Build Your Brand’ has served us well whilst supporting businesses through our online directories.

"We are a relatively young company with dynamic thinking and fresh ideas. The Local View Business Expo aims to help support and drive the local business economy."

The Local View recently rebranded from; ‘Peterborough Business Directory’, allowing them to develop more services and to operate from one hub. The new branding retained the “magnifying glass” image, and the detail of the new “pin”, this places your business on the map and locally.

Julie Marsh joint business partner of The Local View added; “businesses are constantly evolving and changing in line with the economy and local trends.

"Appealing to new clients and meeting the demand of your existing customers can often become challenging in this digital world. Exhibiting your business at a face-to-face event like our Business Expo can set your business apart from your competitors”.

For start-ups, the Business Expo could be the perfect way to connect and start to build a network of suppliers.

With online and digital technology at the forefront of most businesses, face-to-face relationships shouldn’t be neglected. !

For SME’s, there is an opportunity to launch new ideas, showcase key products and services and gain insights with product testing and research.

For established enterprises the Business Expo is a great tool to leverage an important business milestone or celebration and connect back with roots.

The Local View has secured two sponsors; Enlivened, run by local business owner Julie Randall, helping people to recover from burnout, and achieve their professional and personal goals. Their second sponsor is Marshall Jaguar Land Rover Peterborough; premier automotive including test drives, new, used, part exchange and fleet vehicles.

Further sponsorship opportunities that would suit a local legal or financial firm looking to gain more visibility locally, improve brand awareness, be seen as an industry leader and benefit from a speaking opportunity at the event. Please get in touch at expo@thelocalview.co.uk for more info.
