A regal Bridgerton-themed afternoon tea at Peterborough City Hospital raised £924 for the charity Breast Cancer Now.
Organiser and outpatients booking clerk, Jane Edgington, donned charity colours for the fun-filled event that featured games, croquet and delicious homemade cakes.
Jane Edgington said: “Over 55,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK, so my colleagues and I are doing all we can to raise lots of money to help Breast Cancer Now be there for them through their life-changing support and research.
“My mum had breast cancer nine years ago, before I started working for the NHS, and she received the best care.
"It was after her diagnosis that I wanted to raise awareness and funds so that more people didn’t have to go through the treatment and anguish that my mum did."
