Police say they are keen to speak to a tractor driver who was towing hay bales around in the area close to a serious collision at the weekend.

A motorcyclist is currently in hospital being treated for his injuries following the crash on the B660 near Glatton yesterday (Sunday).

The collision was between a black Triumph motorbike and a blue Hyundai Tucson and happened at around 1:15pm.

The rider of the motorbike, a 47-year-old man from Milton Keynes, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Two people in the Hyundai were treated for minor injuries.

Cambridgeshire Police Sergeant Stephanie Corletto said: “We are particularly keen to hear from the driver of a tractor who was towing hay bales in the area at the time of the collision.”

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage, is urged to contact police via Cambridgeshire Constabulary's website quoting incident 249 of 21 July.

Anyone without internet access should call 101 and ask to speak to a member of the Road Policing Unit.
