Organisers of the 2024 Peterborough Sausage and Cider Festival expect remaining tickets to sell out fast with just two weeks to go.
The event takes place on Peterborough’s Embankment on Saturday, June 22 and it has been announced today (June 6) that The Wurzles will be performing.
Organisers say they expect remaining tickets to sell quickly following the huge announcement that The Wurzels will be performing.
The Wurzels will join ABBA Revival, The Brightside Killers, Rule the World, Sham Fender and a huge special guest - Barrioke - with more acts yet to be announced.
Visitors can enjoy 30-plus cider flavours, alongside craft beer, spirits, wine, cocktails and soft drinks. This is alongside 20,plus sausage flavours ranging from maple and chilli, vegetarian and cheese.
As well as a huge festival market, on-stage sausage eating contests and six-round chilli eating competitions.
Lee Fudge, marketing manager for the festival, said: “We are delighted to have The Wurzels at Sausage and Cider Festival Peterborough for a huge feel-good event.
"Festival-goers can expect epic entertainment, food, drink and even an extra stage for the little ones to enjoy."
The event runs from 2pm-11pm and under-18’s must be accompanied by someone above the age of 21. No more than 3 under 18’s can be accompanied by the same 21 year old.
