Liberal Democrat Andrew Wood has been elected to sit on Cambridgeshire County Council following a by-election for the Yaxley & Farcet seat.
The seat became vacant after the death of long-term councillor Mac McGuire who was a Conservative councillor.

Kev Gulson, The Conservative Party – 470
Sally Ann Howell, Independent – 448
Richard Ilett, Labour Party – 175
