Three Peterborough charities will get the chance to appear on Peterborough’s Monopoly board, the game’s makers have confirmed.
Now the public are being invited to suggest which good causes should appear on the board’s Community Chest spaces.
To qualify, the charity’s work must be Peterborough-focused. Charities can also nominate themselves.
The deadline to submit ideas is 11:59pm on February 29, 2024.
Yasmin East, from Winning Moves which is producing the game, said: "It's our way of thanking the public for getting behind the new and official Monopoly: Peterborough Edition game so very enthusiastically."

Earlier this month, it was first announced the city was to get its own Monopoly board.
Its maker’s asked the public to suggest the streets and landmarks that are Peterborough’s equivalent of Park Lane, Oxford Street and Old Kent Road.
More than 30 locations will be featured on the board, with the cathedral, Queensgate Shopping Centre and the POSH football ground among the contributions so far.
Yasmin added: "We would like to formally thank each and every person who has sent in nominations, and, as our way of a thank you, three Peterborough charities will now get to star in the game.
“We feel that the charities getting to feature on the board’s three Community Chest spaces is a great fit, bearing in mind the ‘community’ aspect of these unique Monopoly features.”
Winning Moves UK are producing the board under license from Hasbro, a toy and game company.
Monopoly first hit the shelves in 1935 and has been a family favourite for almost 90 years.
The maker’s say it is now enjoyed by more than 1 billion players in 114 countries around the world.
The Peterborough version will hit the shelves in October 2024 in time for Christmas.
Charity nominations via either the official Peterborough Monopoly Facebook page or to peterborough@winningmoves.co.uk.
Suggestions are invited until 23.59pm on February 29, 2024.
