James Venturi, 36, has been charged with three counts of sexual assault.
Venturi, of Bringhurst, Peterborough, will appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court today (February 7).
The charges come following an arrest on February 6.
Cambridgeshire Police had previously been appealing for information on three sexual assaults that took place between Walton and Bretton on or near the footbridge over the railway.
All three assaults happened between 6:30am and 7:30am from January 22 to January 29.
