Gwyn Martin, an Amazon employee who nominated the school for support, added: “As my children attend the school, I know first-hand how great Werrington Primary School is at supporting, educating and encouraging pupils to perform to the best of their ability.
I’m pleased Amazon has chosen to support it with this donation.”
Rachel Simmons, headteacher at Werrington Primary School, said: “We are grateful for the donation from Amazon and would like to say a big 'thank you' to the Peterborough team.
