A Peterborough pub is reopening today (Monday November 13) following a six-figure renovation.
The Boathouse, which is part of the Chef and Brewer Collection of country pubs, has been refurbished inside and out.
Inside, the cosy waterside pub has been refreshed with completely new décor, including colour scheme, flooring, furnishings and fittings, creating a brighter and more welcoming atmosphere.
The bar area has been upgraded and re-designed to create a larger, more open plan space.
The outdoor area of the pub has also had multiple upgrades, including a new external bar and heated pergola.
The pub is dog-friendly, with a designated station set up with soft blankets and water, for all guests to bring their fury friends after walks in the nearby countryside.
The Boathouse is re-opening with Chef & Brewer’s new festive menu while breakfast will be available seven days a week from 9:30am to 11:30am.
Matthew Preston, general manager of The Boathouse, said: “It has been exciting to see the renovations come together.
“We’re very much looking forward to welcoming guests, both new and old, through our doors to enjoy the newly transformed interiors and exteriors."
