A harvest torch sculpture is to be displayed at Peterborough Cathedral's Harvest Festival and Apple Day.
The advice is to 'dig your wellies out' for the event on October 1, which runs from 11.30am.
The event will be " a day of celebration in honour of food, farming and fun".
Harvest Festival Evensong begins at 3.30pm, this will be held in partnership with Love British Food on the 10th anniversary of the National Harvest Festival.
The service includes the specially commissioned harvest torch sculpture which has travelled across the UK to be at Peterborough Cathedral for this service.
There will be several free activities to get involved in during the day, including a giant apple press, craft stalls and the opportunity to create something for the harvest festival display.
The event is free of charge and no booking is required. Donations welcome.
