The Islamic community in Peterborough marked the end of the Hajj pilgrimage on June 28 by celebrating Eid-ul-Adha in Central Park.
Thousands of Muslims in Peterborough came together to mark the occasion and offer congressional prayers at the city's Central Park.
The prayers were led by Imam Sheikh Mahmood Hasan from the Khadijah Mosque and Islamic Centre.
Attendees came dressed in their best attire, representing the diversity of the city.
Volunteers organised fun rides for children, henna artists and other activities for families, who were seen enjoying a picnic post-prayer.
Some members of the community will be marking the occasion today (June 29).
