A new Neighbourhood Watch group has been launched in Orton Longueville in Peterborough.
The group has more than 152 members and covers seven streets.
A spokesperson for the group said: "It's really positive to have community spirit- I’m surprised all the neighbours have turned out to help, they’re very keen to look after the area.”
Alan Paul, chairman of the Neighbourhood Watch Association said: "The Orton Longueville residents have got organised very quickly, with well over 100 neighbours now linked up, we are really proud of what they have achieved. Its good for Peterborough, What a shining example.”

The Association says it is keen to establish Neighbourhood Watch in Park Ward, Eastfield and Eastgate.
Neighbourhood Watch was launched in Peterborough in 1983.
Peterborough has approach 300 schemes spread across the Peterborough area.
The Association celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022.
