If you love Peterborough Cathedral and love drawing, an event coming up on February 27 or March 4 may be just what you’re looking for.
Artist Karen Neale will be leading two drawing days to share her skills and encourage people to draw in amazing locations inside and outside the cathedral.
Whether you are a doubting doodler or a drawing diva, Karen’s workshops are a wonderful opportunity to pick up some of her sketching secrets as you spend the day drawing.
The workshop runs from 10am until 4pm and will move between various locations around the cathedral site, but have a base at 25 Minster Precincts close by. All you need to bring is a sketchbook and pen or pencil, or whatever implement you usually use for drawing.
Karen is very much looking forward to leading the events and says: “My passion is sketching and painting the world around me in my annotated, sketchbook diaries, and I believe that if you can hold a pen or pencil and write your name, you can draw too.
“I’m really looking forward to exploring the wonderful spaces in and around Peterborough Cathedral, discovering its delightful details and just being able to doodle and draw in such a serene and sumptuous setting. Come and join me!”
More details and ticket information are available on the cathedral's website at: www.peterborough-cathedral.org.uk/143/section.aspx/142/sketching or call 01733 355315.
