Peterborough City Council confirmed, the centre based in Fengate, was shut yesterday and will not reopen today either.
They apologised for the inconvenience and said: “Due to a fire on site, it will remain closed whilst crews and staff attend to the scene. We apologise for this inconvenience”.
More information on the extent of the damage and reopening of the site is awaited shortly.
