A man will appear in court today (Friday) charged with 10 burglary-related offences in Bretton over the weekend.
Sean Maher, of Welford Drive, Wittering, is due to appear at Cambridgeshire Magistrates’ Court.
The 37-year-old was arrested in Spalding on Wednesday afternoon (August 16) by the Acquisitive Crime Team.
These officers are responsible for investigating robbery and property burglary offences.
Maher was later charged with offences on August 12 and 13 in Tollgate, Cleatham, Middleton, Greenham and Tirrington.
He was remanded in custody before his court appearance.
The full 10 charges are:
- Attempted burglary with intent to steal in Tollgate on August 12
- Attempted burglary with intent to steal in Tollgate on August 12
- Attempted burglary with intent to steal in Tollgate on August 12
- Interfering with a motor vehicle with the intention of theft in Tollgate on August 12
- Attempted burglary with intent to steal in Cleatham on August 12
- Attempted burglary with intent to steal in Cleatham on August 12
- Attempted burglary with intent to steal in Cleatham on August 12
- Burglary with intent to steal in Middleton on August 13
- Burglary including theft in Greenham on August 13
- Attempted burglary with intent to steal in Tirrington on August 13
